Both Kestrel and Rocky love nothing more than chasing the "bunny". Whether it is practice in our yard or in the field of competition, they both put their hearts, souls, minds and bodies into the pursuit and always finish with a big smile on their faces!

Rocky's Lure Coursing

10/16/05 IWHC, AKC Lure Coursing - Judge Patric Abaravich. Rocky won 2nd place, a 3 point win in a field of over 18 whippets.

10/17/05 IWHC, AKC Lure Coursing - Judge Dixie Howell-Hirsch. Rocky won 1st place, a 5 point AKC major. Then Rocky went on to win Best of Breed!

12-4-05 - SCWA NOTRA (Oval Racing) Trial. With 30 whippets entered, Rocky had a great time at his first Oval Race. And made a respectable showing for a whippet bred for the show ring.

12-10-05 - Desert Fun Bunch ASFA Lure Coursing Goodyear, AZ - Judges Lyndell Ackerman & Vernon Stack. Rocky won First Place and earned 32 ASFA Points.

1-1-06 - CCA - Los Alimitos, CA - Judges Janet Lotz and Dixie Hirsch. Rocky won Second Place and earned 2 more AKC points, for a current total of 10 points and 1 major.

2-18-06 - IWHC - Bakersfield, CA - Judge Christie Beetz. Rocky won Third Place and earned 2 more AKC points, for a current total of 12 points.

Kestrel's Lure Coursing

7/2/05 - ASFA Trial - Kestrel won 2nd place in a large group and earned 30 points.

10/16/05 IWHC, AKC Lure Coursing - Judge Patric Abaravich. Kestrel won 3rd place and 2 points.

10/17/05 IWHC, AKC Lure Coursing - Judge Dixie Howell-Hirsch. Kestrel won 3rd again and another 2 points.

2-19-06 - IWHC - Bakersfield, CA - Judge David Hayel. Kestrel won BOB and earned 5 more AKC points, for a current total of 9 points and 1 major.
