Ivy finished her bench championship with 4 majors and a BOB over specials. She is major pointed toward her Field Champion title.
 Thanks to the kindness and mentoring of Barbara Ruth Smith of Blueskies Whippets, Ivy has come to spend some time here in California with us.
Ivy is beautiful inside and out. She finished her AKC conformation championship quickly and easily. She also had a lot of fun running in AKC Lure Coursing where she earned 7 points and a major as a young adult before settling into her home.
Ivy is one of the most loving whippets I have ever met. Going out of her way to greet each and every person she meets as if they were a long lost friend.
 After visiting with us for close to a year, Ivy is now living her dream life in Santa Cruz with Paula. When I drove Ivy up to Paula's for her first visit, the entire neighborhood was waiting to greet her. Ivy has made many special friends there, but it is obvious that Paula is the light of her life.
Ivy enjoys waking Paula up each morning and going for walks along the beach. She has trained Paula to understand that whippets belong on the couch and Paula has introduced her to the sheer joy of being an only dog, with all the spoils for herself.
When Paula brought Ivy to the Del Mar show to visit with me and many of her puppies, Ivy was incredibly happy to see all of us. But when Paula left Ivy alone with me for a few minutes and it became readily apparent that Paula is her life now. Ivy spent the entire time looking for Paula and making sure she was going back home with the best whippet servant in the world.
